From the world's first commercial LNG import terminal and regasification plant at Canvey
Island, UK, build in 1962, to the UK's new LNG import terminal at Milford Haven, Whessoe
has had continuous involvement in the LNG industry.
Our engineers, who were part of the team that designed and built Canvey Island, have
coordinated a number of the original patents for the LNG storage industry. They continue
to sit on code committees that drive the LNG industry forward towards technical excellence.
